Should be a dual overhead cam 1.6L. Not sure what other models may be the same.
Mercury Capri? I would think that would mean it's a Mercury?Unsure Ford/Mercury only made these for a very few years, so parts availability would not be good.

This car flies the Mercury flag but it is Australian made and can be impossible to get parts for. I have a customer that has one and it's been a thorn in my ass every time it comes into the shop. I couldn't even get a lower radiator hose for it. I mean NOWHERE. No dealer, no aftermarket, nothing. Some things are available locally like I had no problem find clutch parts for it. There is a mail order company that the customer told me about but they only carry some limited products.

Oh, I remember the older ones. The latter generation weren't even close to the early Capri's.
