In need of help looking for a complete schematic/parts list for a 1961 Dodge rear end. Have a complete rear end to rebuild and the manuals I have do not show a complete list of parts needed. Anyone know where to find the schematic or a manual that would help? Went to the local library with no luck, have contacted a few local mechanics and struck out there too. Continuing the search online...

Mark; I have an old 'Motors Manual' that lists part numbers, exploded views, ect. but only goes to 1953. Might want to check with a larger library. I know that our main library downtown has them, but the smaller satellite ones don't. I'll check at work tomorrow to see if any of my manuals go back that far.... Also, try 'SIX STATES'. We get all of our differential parts from them. Loren SW Washington

That was one of the 1st manuals Loren had to buy..... He was real good with the pre-war cars but never did care for the post-war cars when they started hitting the streets & had to break down & start buying manuals......... He's seen alot of changes since then..........

Wasn't that manual hand written using a quill? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

LMAO............... don't worry. The print on the ban button is too small for him to read.

Alright, you two! I spent several hours looking at that manual by the glow of the fireplace. It's not nice to make fun of old people! And, yes, I can see the ban button. I have my magnifying glass right next to my tweezers! (Every once in a while I have to relieve myself, you know. ) Gotta go, the short bus just pulled up. Loren SW Washington
