I own a 1949 chevy 3/4 ton pickup, I would like to lift it 3-4 inches. But they do not seem to make any prefab kits for these years...does anyone know how to lift these older trucks?

you need to make or find blocks to put in between the leaf spring and the axle. and you will need longer u bolts.
