Can it be "cracked" with a punch or cut with a diamond wheel without trashing the hub? Demel tool a notch to strike with a punch? Easy with torches as hardened metals can do surprising things and weaken the metal of what you are keeping. When it cools, it will shrink and almost fall out!! It should crack and then slide right off.
