Found this in one of my egroups. I'll only be linking to the video itself as to prevent undue advertising to the site.

Anyway, the video contains something fantastic -- the man pops out a big dent using a blower and compressed air. I understand that this happens due to temperature change, making the metal contract or expand. But I'm still a bit skeptical. What do you guys think?

I've been searching the web on this. Also for the Dry Ice method. I am still sceptical on it?
Has anyone REAL tried this yet??

Both will work. However, both methods will compromise the integrity of the metal and make it dent real easy again. As if it gets really hot, the dent will come back by itself.

Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds

I haven't tried this so I can't comment whether it works or not even though there is a video. I understand the theory, so it's possible...

Assuming it does work.
There is no way it would work on every kind of dent. If you have a dent that has creased the metal, bent it, that would have to be pounded out. This is only going to work on.....pressure dents (if that is a term) Ones that are pushed in, but aren't deep and haven't damaged the metal.

If that makes any sense....

Thanks and good luck!

We do not allow links to be posted and this is a 2 1/2 year old thread anyway.
