Easy trick is to use a piece of rubber hose like 3/8th or 10mm gas line to get them started back in for the tough ones which many are. Works like the utimate universal joint. Always get a secure full turn or more before putting a socket on them and don't over tighten the plugs - especially the gasketless taper seated ones. Also - best to do plugs with engine cold, and very important for aluminum or alloy heads. Also II - do them one at a time. Messing up the firing order can wreck your whole day. Also III - if you drop a plug and still use it (recheck the gap) - mark that cylinder so if a skip develops it's almost certainly that one and save you the agony of finding out which one.
