tranny problems on 95 c3500

i have 95 c3500 it will run perfect in all gears until it levels out and trans jumps out of o/d. when this happens the tach and speedometer and shifter light indicator all go away. if you pull it back in drive it will start to pull again and is fine except for the tach speedometer and shifter light if you pull it back into second it all comes back on and everything is fine.PLEASE HELP I'M LOST ON THIS ON!!!!!!!!!
