i recently posted about a rubbing noise with my tranny,well i just jacked up both sides of the front to let my wheels rotate....this was the verdict
in drive---at about 2000-2500rpm a shaking occurs with a metal scrapping kind of sound
1st gear-it works very well,no vibrating or noise
2nd-same thing,no noise or vibrating
3rd-does the same as it did in drive
Reverse-nothing either,no noise or vibrating
and it sounds like a mojority of it is coming out of drivers side-when i do all these steps but listen on passenger side---its very little or no vibrating or scraping sound
has anyone ever heard of something like this?im not skilled in the automotive department,i can install but i cannot diagnose....please any feedback or suggestions would help...thanks guys
