Hello, my gearbox is not working properly.
my 2011 Seat Leon 1.6, 18000 KM had 2 problems;
1- automatic gearbox is slipping, i took it to the service center, where they ordered some parts, and now it seams to be working fine.
2- but this problem was not fixed, when i am stopped on a slope and i want to start i lose my gear, if it is on N.
i still have less then one month of warranty, please help.

Thank you.

Why are you telling us instead of the people that worked on it?

That car isn't sold in the US, so we don't have any info on it. You said the repairs were under a warranty, why aren't you talking to the people that gave you the warranty and did the repair in the beginning?

Just wanted to add. Why aren't you talking to the people that performed the repair if you still have a warranty?

Send the service center an email stating the problem you are still having. make sure the date & correct vehicle mileage is in the email.....
Save the email so it's documented this problem was within the warrenty period.

And try to get this resolved as soon as possible...It would be good to get it taken care of within the period but if for whatever reason they sit on their hands & let the time run out you will be covered with the email

My guess would be the transmission pump is sucking up air if the only time it neutrals out is on a slope. Checking the fluid level would be a good idea. Let us know what you find out.

these days the service center is my home, i go there everyday. they updated the car's software 2 times, they replacement clutch parts, and i will go there tomorrow, but it seams that they are not able to identify the problem.
The Seat Leon is basically a VW Golf made in Spain.

Under the warranty to you have the option to take it to a different service center? If so, find a reputable service center and take it there. A good mechanic would be able to narrow it down and fix the problem. If they can't figure it out why don't they just swap out the whole gearbox? If it's under warranty they are obligated to fix it.

Like Sidom said, which is a great idea, send an email stating that the vehicle hasn't been repaired properly. The reason you do this is so it's documented that you had the problem before the warranty expired and tried getting it fixed but the service center didn't fix it correctly. Then if the warranty expires the repair for the issue you are having should still be covered. You have to have it documented that the issue wasn't fixed even though you took it to the service center before the warranty expired.
