'99 chevy S10 pick up
won't go into 1st gear, will run in 2nd and reverse
Is the clutch adjustable on that model and year?
Will low fluid cause the problem?

I'm not the owner, vehicle parked away from area. Just got vehicle, has not had any problems with clutch or trans.

The clutch is hydraulic and non-adjustable. They commonly spring a leak at either the clutch master or the slave cylinder and when they draw air into the system you lose your pedal. You will have to determine where the leak is and repair it. The slave on this model doubles as the throw out bearing so the trans has to come out to replace it.
