Lately when I'm driving, if I come to a dead stop, and accelerate normal, the vehicle jerks (like in the rear) then takes off, runs and shifts fine. If I accelerate slow from a dead stop or a slight roll, it takes off smoothly. It shifts well and if I want to pass, goes from overdrive to passing gear with no problem! Any ideas? You have to determine if you have an engine drive-ability problem before going after the transmission. If the engine has a misfire, it could be causing that kind of symptom also. If your unsure, swing into your local mechanic and have them take it for a ride.
