I think my kid didn't press on break pedal while switching from parking to drive. After that the car started to behave really strange. Shifting isn't smooth anymore, engine seems to be noisy. If it's in an Accent (Accident) it was REALLY bad. If the TCM detects a problem, it will generally operate the trans in 3rd gear only. Have it checked out.
