Sign In Hello, I have an automatic 2000 Subaru Legacy wagon with approximately 133 000 miles on it and lately it feels like it is getting stuck when it does its shifting between 20 and 30 mph. It revs and it feels like it really doesn't want to move into that next gear. Then it finally does and everything is ok again. This happens when I am speeding up from being at a stop sign or speeding up from turning a corner. And today the engine light came on. I have an appointment to take it into the dealer on Monday. But I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas about this, so I can say it is doing these things so I think it might be the transmission or whatever when I take it to them. It may be low, 'sloshing' away from the pickup during turns or accel. Otherwise, just explain it as you did, here. They said that one of my cylinders was mis-firing. Which I guess makes sense too. Sign In The transmission is electronically controlled, so any engine manangement issues could cause eratic transmission issues. Definitely, get the misfire corrected, first. P0301=cyl. #1; P0302=cyl. #2, P0303=cyl. #4, ect. P0300 is random cylinder misfire.
