Clutch Sign In

I can not seemto get my car in gear because when i push the clutch all the way to the floor and try to put the car in gear it seems like the car wants to roll a little like it is just trying to go into gear. when the car is off it goes into gear fine and when it is cool but when it gets warmed up or on it doesnt i think i need to adjust the clutch but not sure how to do that. It is a T-5 in a 1988 LX Mustang with a 351 in it. HELP.

This does suggest the even with the clutch pedal fully depressed it still isn't disengaging. That link above suggests this is a self adjusting mechanism and doesn't look so simple to just lube or replace this - never ran across one and this didn't mention a 351 in 88 ??

If this isn't self adjusting properly then I would guess you would notice the car nudging forward if started with clutch depressed in first gear for example.

There could be a problem at the clutch itself - warped or something?? See what others say as this seems like quite a procedure to get at this at all and I wouldn't want to go there unnecessarily, but this is important and not so good for the trans if acting like I think you described,
