Today i had bought a 1988 Audi 90 5 speed. On my way home i messed up and shifted down into 1st going way to fast and i heard a loud vang. Now it wont shift into any gear. I got home and when i shifted into first, it stayed but the car would only stall and not take off. Then in neutral it would go in reverse. Can the shifter select other gears?
