Auto Trans problem. No reverse, no neutral, weak drive Sign In

I have a 1986 4-door Toyota Corolla, replaced tranny in Feb 06 with used (not rebuilt) one. Took it for it's regular oil change a week after 3 month warranty ran out. They said there was a leak in the transmission pan. Tonight scraped the underside of car quite badly, and fabric covering underside of tranmission is shredded and hanging down . Had to drive it home a long way (60 km/35 mi). When I dropped off passenger after 25 miles, car would not move at all in neutral (even when pushed), and would not move much in reverse (even when pushed), but when it finally did, it was lurching severely. Car did not have much power when starting from a stop, and slowly sped up to normal speed. Going up a long hill, I shifted into "2" because I was losing power, and it slowed the car down on that hill (I did NOT try to put it in "1" on that hill). I've never lost power on a hill before when gearing down with a manual. Also, after 15 miles, I was turning left at an intersection and I heard a loud creaking or grinding sound from underneath the car.

Please, any advice is appreciated!

Thanks,
Doug

You have to totally inspect what got damaged. There is no standard problem when things get damaged you have to look right at stuff or have someone look at it,
