94 S10 BLAZER TRANFER CASE Sign In

THE TRANFER CASE WILL NOT ENGAGE. I CANNOT GET 4WD HIGH OR 4WD LO.

Make sure the wiring is hooked up. The servo actuator has been a problem in a few like this,

I AM GETTING VOLTAGE DOWN TO THE TRANSFER CASE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE VALUES SHOULD BE. I DID GET THE VEHICLE INTO 4WD LO. I STILL CANNOT GET IT INTO 4WD HIGH. I'M GOING TO ADJUST THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT LINKAGE.

I ADJUSTED SHIFTER LINKAGE, NO HELP. IF I PUT THE TRANSMISION IN NEUTRAL AND ENGAGE THE 4WD LO, AND SHIFT INTO DRIVE I GET A CLUNKING SOUND. I CAN THEN GET THE TRANMISSION INTO 4WD HI IF I SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL AND ENGAGE 4WD HI. I GET A METAL WHINING SOUND WHEN I DISENGAGE THE 4WD HI. IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING IS NOT SYCRONIZED OR NOT TOTALLY ENGAGING. ANY IDEAS? WOULD THIS BE THE SERVO ACTUATOR?
