Thanks kev2 Veteran Sep 22, 2014, 6:46 PM Post #2 of 3 (1957 views) Re: 92 Z-71 Sign In floor mounted transfer case shifter - NOT the push button. fuses good - the transfer case switch a detent type closes when 4wd selected- sends 12 to actuator- SO with 4wd selected - check for 12v at actuator and confirm good ground... I think one view said there wasn't by you so then I'd suspect at the shifter under side has the problem at a plug for wires or possibly inside on floor shifter? Right there it has a light bulb indicating front has engaged and that can fail/blow too.
