2009 Hyundai transmission hard downshift from 2nd to 1st. help

My 2009 has started to downshift
hard when slowing down from 2nd to 1st gear. It disappears after about 4shifts. It only happens when cold. 50, 000 miles. Should fluid and filter change cure this? Its a 4cyl. Sonata.

Fluid changes are maintenance, they will not repair an existing issue. In this case it will not help. Isn't this car under warranty still?
