This is in reference to at 2002 Dodge Caravan with 70,000 mi. on it.....It is my wife's car,so I only drove it occasionally.....I noticed the car sometimes would not go forward 1st thing in the morning, my wife had more problems with the van.....we took it to a mechanic (at a muffler franchise)........he replaced 2 modules & said that the fluid was clean & free of debris but it still won't shift into high gear....(limp-home mode ?).....Please advise.....Mike

The transmission Control Module will have codes stored in it which will need to be retrieved using a professional scan tool, not just a generic code reader.
The muffler franchise is probably not the best place to be doing this.

I definitely agree with that. That would be like going to proctologist for a teeth cleaning.

Yeah, but the Proctologist was giving a coupon.

Maybe, but how do you know the proctologist had washed his hands after the last patient before sticking his fingers in your mouth?

I bet his sister is pretty hot. She was out of camera range getting some more sudafed. They said they were going to have a cookout but I noticed nobody at that house owns a barbecue grill. Hmm.
