the car started falling out of gear and then randomly jumping back in gear turns out i needed to change the belt.
changed the belt and it worked better then it ever had.Then one day it decided it would go if i was in 1st gear and then second but put it in drive and all it does is rasie the rpms. if you let the car idle it sounds like a pissed of bubble bee..it will do reverse all day long. you put it in 1st she will go for a bit but then do what it does in drive..I've been told it could be the torque converter or the transmission.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out how an accessory belt would affect the shifting. More than likely was a coincedence. It's probably too late, but have you checked the transmission fluid? I would have to agree that you are looking at the transmission. Sorry.
