2000 chevy s10 2.2 4cyl no longer has 1st gear or drive Sign In

I've had this truck for a few years, the transmission has been slipping since I got it, but it still had all the gears. It has like over 160000 miles on it. Now for like 2 weeks it no longer has 1st or drive, I've changed fluid and filter didn't seem to help

So, what's your question? It's quite obvious you have been on borrowed time for a very long time and now you have probably destroyed a lot more than you would have had if you fixed in when you should have.

Was the fluid black and burnt smelling when you dropped the pan?

Transmission needs to come apart and inspected. Pretty sure you have some smoked clutches. Hard parts are going to need to be inspected for damage and replaced, valve body torn down and reconditioned, upgrades should be performed, torque converter replaced, and cooler and lines flushed out if you want to restore the old transmission. I personally suggest a factory reman SERTA. They are not cheap, but you get a nice warranty and a good quality reman.
