Just bought this p.o.s. & had problems the next day. Not sure exactly what catagory this would be in but I heard it could be a transmission problem.
I was driving on the highway & the car started loosing speed. I had the pedal to the floor & it was doing a maximum 45 mph & slowly falling. When I slowed down the speed didnt have much of an increase besides a few mph. I pulled off to the side of the highway & turned the car off. When I tried turning it back on it wouldn't. It sounded like it wanted to start & seemed really close to but then it would just die.
Dont know what would cause both problems ( the decrease in acceleration, and the car not starting back up). Any suggestions/help/ideas/prices I'm looking to pay? lol

I was also told to check the gas pump & filter. Haven't been back to the car yet, towing it today. I hear from reviews of this car that the alternator normally ends up needing fixed/replaced...no clue what that even is but yeah.

Hard to say but this seems like a fuel pressure problem. That can be checked even with the car not running and I would start there,
