I have and '03 chrysler sebring with 96,000 miles on it a 2.4 engine last week i had a problem where it wouldnt start in the cold temperatures, we took it and and they changed the plugs and wires for us then everything was fine. Last night i got into it and drove down the road and when i would get between 2 and 3 RPM's it would skip out, my friend said he thinks it is having trouble shifting, it just felt like it was missing to me, i dont know much about cars though. it doesnt do it all the time, it was fine all day and then started up again tonight. please if someone could help me i would really appreciate it.

Does the service engine/check engine light come on? Chryslers are really bad about the input or output pseed sensors going bad.

Have the codes read and post back the EXACT code number. We can research the code and help you. Autozone--Pep Boys will read the code for free. Some other major chains may read them also. You can also turn the key on, off, on, off, on in 5 seconds and read the codes.

i personally dont have any of the tools to get a code, i guess we will just have to take it in was just hoping to get an idea of what it might be and how much my pocketbook will be hurting...thanks for your help

You can go to the auto parts houses and they will read the code for free. They will try to sell you parts. Tell them you will be back for parts. Post back the EXACT code and we can help you. They will not charge you for reading the codes. If it winds up being the sensors, you can replace tham yourself and they are fairly inexpensive.
