My car was swerving a bit and I knew I needed a rear link kit, so my garage told me I would need all 4 link kits and the charge would be approx 300 labour in. They suggested an alignment, which they get done by a specialty garage in town. After bringing it there they tell me the other garage saw I needed front bushings replaced, and quoted me an hour and half per side. My question is, should they have seen that the first time around, and would I have saved money in labour had they done the whole thing together? We're the link kits even necessary? Thanks

There is nothing wrong with the way this went down. The alignment shop has to take a close look at wear in the steering and suspension and apparently the first shop didn't look close enough. It sounds like you were the one that told them what you needed anyway. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
