Emergency Help Bent Strut from tow truck Sign In

2018 Nissan Sentra and went in a ditch last week. I am a bit worried about removing the strut. As you can see in the picture the (truck-tow) somehow manager to hook the strut. I dont feel like dying trying to replace this thing by myself and cant afford the dealer. Thanks in advanced.

Sorry for some reason this site wont let me upload the picture but its shared on my drive

That doesn't really look like tow truck damage. That looks like impact damage, depending which side is the front of the car.

You can buy a complete strut now with springs and everything and that is what I would do. I would also replace both struts, not just one.

As long as you never touch the center nut, you should be safe to remove the whole assembly.

So I guess the car is facing in the direction of the arrow. At first I thought it was the right side and pushed back.

Just pick up a pair of complete struts and you should be good. Make sure the brake line or any ABS wiring isn't damaged.
