1992
Toyota
Paseo Coupe

Pictures below from my Dad's car. Obviously broken. We have no idea what that part(s) is called, so we're having trouble finding a replacement. Does anybody know what it/they are called?

I would also appreciate it if anybody knows a good website where we could find a replacement.

Bad news friend. It's mostly the lower control arm but looks even worse than a single part fix. This car is done sorry to say. Not safe to drive at all and if this side looks like that there are countless unseen unsafe things throughout it. Do yourself and your Dad a huge favor and part it out or salvage it as is.

Yes you could fix anything but the cost would be over a brand new car for that one.

Just FYI, this can happen to cars in less than 10 years in rust belt areas - suks,

(edit) I'll take it back if it can be declared that it really is limited to that part and about the only reason would be it was replaced once with a lousy one once before?

My gosh...that is horrible. If that lower control arm looks like that, I am pretty sure its time to let the car go before the seat falls through the floor.

You know it DS. Lots of cars running around out there with only carpet holding your feet in and so on.

Careful even hoisting to see if the whole underside has issues as well. No joke I've seen assorted jacks places properly and just sink into the correct jacking points too often as well,
