Hi Guys,

I hope you can help.

I have a 2004 Fiat Punto Sporting 1.4 - It has recently starting pulling to the right under acceleration.
When I ease off the gas it pulls to the left.

This is gets worse at higher speeds and feels quite dangerous when driving on the motorway.

I thought it may be a tracking problem so had this adjusted at a local garage - this has not helped the problem.
The track rod arms and anti roll bar bushes were changed about 5000 miles ago and appear to be fine.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We don't have that vehicle here in the US but the symptoms are common. That is called "Torque steer". It can have a number of different causes from broken motor mounts to a bad drive axle. It can even be broken or worn suspension or steering parts. The car should be inspected thoroughly.

Hi Charlie,

sorry to resurect an old thread, but did you resolve this ? i have the same car and same issue..

Tracking and new wishbones hasnt resolved the issue.
