normally, you can apply power to engage magnet - then remove the bolt holding the clutch on.

whats the best way when you have NO POWER to keep the clutch/AC shaft from spinning while you try to break loose the bolt?
I don't want to damage the clutch grabbing/smashing it to the pully with vise grips/channel locks (unless thats the preferred way).

thx

Search out the set that has what you need for a puller. They vary how the units are removed. I have a set now old probably missing some came as a set to do most.

Also know there's a bearing in whole clutch that usually can be replaced. Been a while some are "peened" in learn how to make those dimples again if you did go there.

Also if it's thought to be good most yards want to sell the whole thing,

T

Using a hammer type impact gun will usually break it loose easier.
