While removing the intake from my 1997 Chrysler Sebring I accidently knocked the clip off the low pressure A/C line going into the fire wall. Pretty much all of the pressure was released before I could get the line reconnected. How many 12 ounce cans of R134a will it take to recharge the system? how many ounces of oil should I add? Thanks.

My chart shows 28 oz for a Sebring convertible (are they all?) if so that would be 2.3 cans from empty and a vacuum and if that's your guage just stay on the low side of volume if in question. Bleed out the lines to cans each time as air is the enemy!
How much oil to add is a judgement call. How fast did it leak out and did it make a mess? My guess is a couple oz of oil. Perhaps 3 if it blew out and made a mess.
Some replacement parts uses less volume of refrigerant but car should be marked and was marked on a sticker under the hood when new anyway and go by that before any charts or other suggestions. Good luck, T
