Ok so i have a '94 Acclaim and the heat doesn't work at all it just blows cold air.
However, i found that if i turn the heat completly off, turn the temperature selector all the way down to cold then back up to warm, then turn it on to medium the heat works great.
Any ideas on what may be the cause of this?

Guess is that the control head is having trouble sending on the correct request or a diverter door is stuck. Arggh! This will take some digging to isolate which is at fault,
