Ok I have a 98 Dodge Ram 1500 and I have a huge problem unsure what is wrong When I take off I hear water in the dash of the passenger side And I have a huge mess in the floor board the carpent is soaked its ruined But before I get that fixed I need to find out what could cause this I have had my ac fixed and a new blower motro installed but this problem was happening before that!! It does smell sweet so I know its not antifreeze!! Its alot alot of water I have had the drain lines checked and they are not clogged!! What could this be?? Helpppp!!

Check your coolant level to see if you have lost any. It's either a leaking heater core or the drain for the A/C condensation is plugged up

I will check the coolant! I do know that I had all the a/c drains checked and they are clear Also I havent had any kind of over heating so I didnt think to check the coolant but I will try anything at this point! Thank you

You said it had a sweet smell. That would make it coolant.

I'm sorry thts a typo it doesn't smell sweet. Its just a lot of water. I checked my coolant and its good. My car isn't over heating. So idk.

OK, then it's either A/C condensation or a rainwater leak.

Watching this: As HT said if not coolant it's either rain water or the normal water A/C use makes called "condensate" to mess with your head.
If A/C will blow cold air on a warm day and doesn't drip to the ground there's the problem. If humid use of A/C makes a lot of condensate and frequently just a little rubber hose at firewall is plugged up if that's the source.
Generally can just pinch those and the water will come out - or like a plastic wire tie pushed in there. Use plastic, not metal as there's a evaporator in there that you don't want to damage if good now.
I know it stinks and can be hard but fix this and IF NEEDED REMOVE RUGS AND DRY THE WHOLE THING OUT! Even if just lifted up and fans can do on a good day.
Good luck with finding the source and the fix. Going blind but need to see the source, then the fix,
