1997 GMC suburban
5.7L V-8
178000miles.

When I turn my A/C or heat on I get nothing out of the front vents. But if I turn on the rear A/C it blows cold and hard. I think it is a relay but i'm not very familar with GMC's( this is my first one)

Sounds like the front blower motor isnt working.
Check the fuse...
Check for power and ground at the blower motor
Try tapping on the blower motor itself ,if it turns on or makes a noise, replace it.
