2001 Ford Ranger 4.0- How Is the clutch gap adjustment done? Can it be done on vehicle?

Should be easy on that vehicle. Look for 8mm also 5/16th and remove outer plate. There will be a very small spacer washer when removed will decrease clutch gap. Don't lose it - if that's too much put it back. If clutch rubs when A/C is off it's too close! Hit back if this if this is giving you a hard time, Tom
