AC has warm air on passenger side cold air drivers side

My 2017 Nissan Rouge has AC issue. The vents on driver side blow cold air, but the air on passenger side is warm. What causes that?

Need to know if this has some kind of dual temperature controls as up front this is opposite of what the common low refrigerant would do first.
Most issues with A/C are a leak and low refrigerant the answer would be find + fix leak and recharge properly to exact amount - no guessing has to be spot on.
What you could do now is what you tell me/us have available for test or temperature measuring tools or just your hands feel two lines going thru firewall with system operating and above 80F actual air temps outside feel those with system on full cool request.
If the same will change what to do or A/C involving refrigerant is now so costly to handle and deal with isn't worth it for most people and of course you hate to spend a fortune but it's so costly to even do need to be reasonable.
Low refrigerant is 2/3rds of reasons for a complaint just don't mess with that till you know that's the issue not some other reason.
Last: If this has a cabin air filter check the thing or some take it out if an option will screw up diagnosis of A/C issues,
