OK, guys I want to remove freon from one car to another, they sit side by side what tools will I need to do this and can it be Done?????????

I've tried that forcing compressor in donor vehicle to a 30lb refrgerant can/bottle with a vacuum and only recovered a trace not worth the effort. Refrgerant from one can be recovered to be re-used in the same or another but that equipmet (required) is costly especially for a one time thing it would be futile. Cars sent for salvage have their refrigerant if any left removed and it can be recycled that way but again expensive equipment needed,
