A/C not working on high setting Sign In

My 1999 Chevy Astro vans A/C wont work on the high setting Does anybody know what the problem is?

Do you mean no cooling or no fan?

The fan wont blow any air i think the air is still cold but no air is coming out

If the blower fan for the vents works on the lower speeds I suspect the switch itself. There might be a separate fuseable link wire for high only and I'm not sure - sorry. You could try testing the wires at the resistor for current or jumper wire with fused jumper wire direct to fan to see if it can work at high speed but if it works at all it probably isn't the blower motor itself,

You need a bolwer motor resistor. It is stuck in the evaporatorcaseon the passenger side undehood
