A/C not blowing cold air

My a/c cluch turns on for a few seconds and then off for a few seconds then and on and off and so on. I get great pressure when it is on. any ideas?

About 2/3rds of poor performance of A/C is caused by a low charge of refrigerant. You need BOTH pressures at raised idle, compressor staying engaged and the ambient temp noted to assess system performance and what might be the problem.
Don't add until all info is it as overcharging causes damage and reduces efficiency and performance.
Locating and fixing the leak is of utmost importance,
