A/C Problem Sign In

Hi, can anyone help me out, i am trying to charge the a/c sytem on a renault logan, having trouble whit the charge, what i notice is that the high side lines that usually heatup douring the process dont in this vehicle.

We don't have that vehicle here in the states. What are you using to recharge the system? Is this r-12 or r-134A?

Also please post the gauge reading for both high and low sides.

Also II: Vehicles are charged by known weight into a known vacuum that holds. Ounces count and the lower the system capacity the more important. You must keep air out or system will go nuts on you.

This is a locked thread in this section that at best was a lot or work to make but gives you the idea of what is involved in charging a system when and if everything is normal. It's a read. Could be 100 pages and still incomplete but a good base to go by.

You must understand when compressor is engaged or not and very accurate temperature readings at the right places. If no known system capacity is available it can still be done with all observations at once which is hard to do. Getting it wrong is a disaster so beware of that,
