Can you tell me where the low side service port for the air conditioner is located at on a 1992 Honda Civic?

It will be somewhere in the suction line that runs from the evaporator in the dash back to the compressor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

How could you tell the High Side from the Low Side?

The fittings are different. The low side has a smaller fitting.

I don't mean any harm but if you can't find the ports this isn't for you or you'll go broke fixing it, T

It's probably still R12 too. I can see it. Takes the schrader valve off and lets all that R-12 go into the atmosphere. Then screws on some retrofit fittings and pushes some r-134a w/sealer suicide can into the system without vacuum or flushing the old oil out. Maybe 3 or 4 cans because the low side idiot gauge is telling him/her there isn't enough in it, when it is actually being overcharged. Compressor overheats and locks up later on trashing the entire system. Anyone wanna take bets? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
