98 Blazer Heater Box PIC. Bleand air door Sign In

Hey this is my first time with you all so lets see if someone out there can help. I was a mechanic for a few years and dont mind getting in deep on this job just would like to have a diagram of the heater box before I jump in feet first.
OK here is what is going on the blend air door is squeaking like crazy and it never comes off of hot. You can hear it in there constantly (never stops) squeaking like it is tring to close off but just cant. I have change the potentionameter ( blend air motor) on a ranger and that took care of its problem like this, but I am unsure of where that is found on the blazer. Can I get to it from the glove box? or do I have to pull the dash?
THANKS AGAIN

I don't know of that being a common problems with that vehicle. Most are still using vacuum to move the doors but not all and I can't say for every car. Can you get your hands on the device vac or electric and move it by hand?

If not it should be accessible from underneath and thru glovebox if needed for access. Just use all caution with wires that may control air bags!!!!

Hit me at (us) at HTTP://www.AutoACsystems.com as there are some techs there that may know exactly your vehicle and be more helpful. Go for forums at the Cool Zone. Good luck, T (we are cooperative sites)

Thanks
But yes I have checked the vacume lines that control the actuator door and tested them. The rodes that come out of those actuators are very easy to grease with some lithium grease and watch so I did that but no such luck. I really thank you for replying I am just going to pull the dash and be done with it.
