97 civic air-cond. problem Sign In
My civic"s ac.condenser fan fuse is blowing. The condenser fan runs fine when I just have ignition key on accessory and ac switch on.When I start engine and turn on ac. the fuse blows when the ac.compressor-clutch engages.I swapped out relay and still happened.The freon is fine,the wiring connections appear normal on the condenser fan and compressor.The ac. ran fine all day (104*out) ,good and cold,then condenser fan blew fuse. Any ideas on where problem lies? Do I have to replace compressor clutch? or is the fan shorting out? Thanks for your helpUnimpressed
