95 nissan maxima ac not cooling well	Sign In

replaced compressor, (expasion valve replaced twice) dryer, and evaporater. flushed evacuated and recharged system. High Side 125 Low side 70 outside temp 80 cooling to 72. Need some suggestions

your posted #'s are NOT right and would normally indicate an undercharge. The real problem is why? Is it leaking?

Yes it was leaking the evaporater was replaced .Also the compressor bearing was rumbling. So the compressor and expansion value were replaced along with the receivier dryer. After charging with 24oz. of r134a low side is 80 and high side is 125 I initialy thought the expansion value was stuck open so I replaced it a second time now I am thinking the compressor must be defective what do you think? any comments appreciated!

My chart shows 24oz is right.#s Still off. I'm here most of the time but will mention two A/C only sites for possible more help as you have me stumped.

Just posting a follow up. Very strange ac just started working properly one afternoon??? Rick didn't have time to check readings as he was on his way to Arizona. 2weeks and all is well.
