94 dodge spirit

 94 dodge spirit, recently my heating and air conditioning both stopped working on my 94 dodge spirit. just before this happened, whenever I would turn either my heating or air there would be a wining noise. any ideas?Could I fix this myself?Thanks, Laurie

You mean the fan isn't blowing anymore ,correct?
From what you describe,the blower motor has failed and needs to be replaced.
If you have some basic tools and some mechanical skills ,its definitely a Do- it yourself repair.
