Currently my car has no heat, it blows cold air at all times, even with the knob turned all the way to the red. When you turn the AC on or off it has this ticking that goes on for a little bit, then stops. Anyone have experience with this? What's the usual culprit, and is there an easy DIY fix?

Does this have automatic temp control?
Are both heater hoses hot going into the firewall?
The ticking noise could be a stripped out blend door actuator. The actuator moves the air door for heat.
