2008 Honda Accord — Won’t blow cold air Sign In

I have a 2008 Honda Accord (4 cylinder w/ 160k) and we haven’t been driving it much these last four months. I recently had it repaired bc the ABS and brake lights came on and stayed on.

Pepboys did what they described as a system reboot and problem solved.

Now, a few days later, next time I drove car for an extended period the cold air went out after about 5 minutes and persists blowing mildly cool air (definitely not cold).

I drove car to get oil change today and got their “A/C Recharge” service for $89. The air was cold for the short ride home. A few hours later took car out again, cold air for a few minutes and then started blowing mildly cool air.

Any thoughts on what might be the problem? I know little about cars and greatly appreciate responses.

Thanks

No such thing. They cleared the codes and hoped it wouldn't happen again.

As for the AC, it sounds like you may have a serious refrigerant leak. You need to have the system leak checked.
