2005 toyota sienna van overheating

2005 toyota sienna van overheating Sign In

i have a 2005 toyota sienna van and while sitting idle for about 5 minutes i noticed the temperature guage started going up and up. i turned off air and once i started moving the guage came back down. please help

Some might be normal especially with use of A/C if you mean that. Never to a warning zone. Make sure fan(s) are working properly,

Thank you. Yes I mean A/c. I was thinking it was the cooling fan as well.

Almost all vehicles with electric fans would be on if A/C is requested. {{Don't need to know but some would shut down if you were moving along fast enough for airflow to be adequate and wouldn't know it anyway}} If not running and please do look there is something wrong. Just need to glance that it's working. Don't delay in finding out why not if it isn't as a real overheat is very hard on an engine,
