On all speeds there is very little heat coming out of the lower vents. If I switch to the dash vents or defroster vents it cranks out fine. Can you help a guy out whose face is roasting and his feet are freezing. I am beginning to wonder if the guy who put in my remote start messed up my lower air ducts. Thanks. T.

If this just started with that remote start that's where to look for what was or might have been messed with to wire that in, T

Thanks for the quick reply Tom. Before I go tearing into the dash/console, do you know if those vents are mechanically controlled with a linkage or vaccuum controled with a hose and nipple?

The defroster and mix doors are cable operated. Pull the control panel out and inspect the cables that connect to the rear of the panel. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Thank you both for your time and helpfulness. I'll go to the parts store first and get a Chilton's manual first before I start tearing things apart.

What did you find before anyone closes this? Might help another just searching around -- T

I didn't find anything yet, since my wife has the car. I'll have to get a manual to see where I will have to start taking things apart and how the lower vents operate physically. So the issue is unresolved, but I have a direction to go in. Thanks again.
