The a/c suddenly went out. It is not the fuse under the hood. When we jumped from the battery the plug & itworks.?

So you are saying that you jumped directly from the battery positive to the compressor clutch coil connector and the clutch engaged and you got it to cool? If that is so, you need to find out if the AC relay is being turned on by the engine computer. The relay should click when it is being energized after you turn on the ac with the engine idling. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
