In the passenger compartment and the car is idling I hear what sounds like a build up of vacuum and then almost that it vents to atmosphere. Is this normal? Everything appears to work just fine. Quote: Condition: Some customers may comment on a "hiss"-type noise when the air conditioning (ac) compressor is turned off.The hiss-type noise may also be heard if the cooling fan comes on in the high speed mode with the a/c compressor on. Basically addresses replacing the engine cooling fan low speed resistor assembly. check with your dealer to see if your vehicle falls under the vin (vehicle identification number) breakpoint..
